Interested in studying how metabolic interplay between somatic and germ cells sustains fertility?

Our lab has recently identified that somatic cells provide the glycolytic product lactate to germ cells to support their survival. This project will aim to build on these findings and explore further aspects of metabolic interdependence between germline and soma.
